Deedlit became my favorite anime character after seeing what became my favorite anime ova by far which was Record of Lodoss War, it reminded me so much of Dungeon's and Dragon's, and I have a big things for elves, and when I saw her I couldn't stop staring at her. Her first apearance to the main character known as Parn, who I beilive is gay, I will get to that later. Anyway she arrived to warn Parn and his other gay friend Etoh, about Goblin's attacking his own village. By helping them she saved the village, but disapeared really quick but fallowed Parn, Etoh, and two new more experienced new found friends. She didn't truley join up with them until the third episodewhen Parn was by himself angered at what the Dward Ghim had said about his fighting skills. Anyway she joined up with the bunch and stayed with them through the series. She was a very kind and gentle person. Her way of lving was very pure as are most high elves. She found herself attracted to the young man Parn struggling to become a Knight. But Parn doesn't even notice her and ignored her most of the time. That is not the way of a normal man. After many adventures they had, and battles they had faced. The War of Heroes, the battles against the Grey Witch Karla. Parn still ignored her. He eventually did fall in love with her after watching his greatest enemy, the black knight Ashram die sadly holding the body of the only person her cared for Dark Elf Pirotess as the both sunk into the lava together. It helped Parn to understand his love for Deed. Though Ashram died, the battle was far from over. The marmo wizard now struggling to become a god captured Deedlit to sacrfice her to revive the Dark Goddess Kardis.
How can you say she isn't the cutest!
Deedlit was such a cool character, throughout the entire OVA, she never did anything that made you mad at her, except her liking worthless Parn. However the OVA was only 13 episodes, though have watched it about 50 times, I really wanna see more. Legend of Crystania is to be a prequel to Lodoss War, currently being subbed and dubbed, by the same people who did Lodoss, well duh. I can't wait until it comes out, it better have Deedlit in it, so I can see my Heroine back on the screen...
